Welcome to the Adele Katz Endowment for the Arts!

Who was Adele Katz?

Born April 21st, 1921 she was an avid music and art lover. She was also an artist, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was well known in her Brooklyn neighborhood for taking groups of kids to theater productions, concerts and other artistic events who would never have been able to otherwise attend. She organized these activities because she believed that the arts and culture were a necessary element of education of which everyone should be a part.

I have created this memorial fund in her honor and structured it so your one-time gift will go on to create opportunities for many years to come and allow deserving applicants from every avenue of the artistic community to continue their work. Also we DO NOT take ANY compensation from the fund, everything stays in the portfolio or is distributed to the community.

Due to current market volatility and lack of incoming donations the fund has had a period of dormancy. However, we do have our quarterly reports form 2020 available below and hope to resume charity work soon.
